Hello Dyma Llandeilo App Users,
Hope this message finds you well. Another week has flown by, and we’re thrilled to be nearing 950 downloads. Our goal is to reach 1000 by Christmas, and we’re actively working towards it!
Marketing Update:
We’re experimenting with utilizing the home screen (the first thing you see when you open the App) to showcase local events. Recently, Aberglasney Gardens renewed their support for the App, and we decided to spotlight their Winter Fair. We’re monitoring the App visits and clicks to quantify the impact.
Facebook:
No changes on the Facebook front—we’re eagerly awaiting the release of the URL. In the meantime, please reach out via email or the form below.
What’s on!:
Check out the updated “What’s on!” section for local events. Feel free to submit your own events via email at llandeilo@mytownapp.uk if you prefer not to use the form.
What’s new:
- Added more places to visit, including castles, historic landmarks, and woodlands in the surrounding area.
- “Where to Shop” is now live, and we’re in the process of populating the data.
- Testing a new home screen template with smaller icons to reduce swiping.
New Business 2 Business Section (Coming Soon):
Linda Morris has kindly permitted us to upload monthly Wi-Fi reports, leading to the introduction of a Business Resource section. We’re brainstorming a catchier title for its release. This section aims to offer tools and resources for the town’s businesses, including:
- Business Services like hotdesking and meeting room hire.
- Business Networks & Clubs.
- B2B Services such as accountants and marketing professionals.
That’s all for this week, App users. Wishing you a fantastic week ahead!
Steve and the Dyma Llandeilo Team
